Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and polished fine dining server to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses extensive knowledge of food and wine, and is committed to creating exceptional dining experiences. Strong familiarity with Italian wines, regions, and traditional pairings is essential.
Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive, professional, and personalized service in a fine dining environment. Guide guests through the menu and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and wine pairings. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Italian wine regions, varietals, producers, and vintages. Confidently present and serve wine according to fine dining standards, including opening, decanting, and proper glassware selection. Maintain detailed knowledge of seasonal menus, daily specials, and beverage offerings. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless and timely service. Anticipate guest needs and provide an elevated hospitality experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service equipment. Accurately enter orders and process payments using the restaurant's POS system.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of fine dining serving experience, preferably in an Italian restaurant. Strong knowledge of Italian wines, including major regions such as Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto, Sicily, and Puglia. Understanding of classic Italian grape varietals, appellations, and food pairings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
