Event Server South Eden is looking for an experienced, dependable, and energetic Event Server to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in providing excellent guest service, and understands the importance of teamwork and attention to detail. Our events can range from intimate gatherings to large, high-volume weddings and private events, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable staying focused and organized while managing multiple responsibilities. What We're Looking For Previous serving experience required; event or banquet serving experience is a plus Bartending experience is a bonus, but not required Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to stay focused and productive, even during busy events Works well as part of a team and is willing to jump in wherever needed Ability to follow directions and event timelines Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping work areas clean and organized Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and performing physical tasks associated with event service Must be able to remain calm, professional, and courteous when things get busy or unexpected situations arise Responsibilities Event Servers may be responsible for a variety of duties throughout an event, including: Preparing event spaces and service areas before guests arrive Setting tables, place settings, and service stations Providing attentive and professional service to guests Serving food and beverages according to event specifications Clearing tables and maintaining a clean, organized event space Assisting with buffet and plated meal service Restocking food, beverages, and service items as needed Assisting the bar team when necessary Helping with event setup and breakdown Following direction from event management and working together with the entire event team Ensuring guests have a positive experience from arrival through the conclusion of the event Schedule & Pay This is primarily a weekend position , with some Friday events and mostly Saturday events. Event schedules vary, so shifts can range from approximately 4 to 12 hours , depending on the event and your availability. Pay starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience. This position is paid hourly and does not rely on tips , providing a consistent hourly wage. We understand that availability can vary, and we are willing to work with the right candidate's schedule whenever possible. However, reliability and the ability to commit to scheduled events are extremely important.
