Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and a friendly demeanor. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling items to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Process payments efficiently through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in transactions. Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations, ensuring a safe dining environment for all guests. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Ability to engage with guests positively, demonstrating strong guest relations skills. Experience in sales or upselling techniques within the hospitality industry is beneficial.
