Portable toilet sanitation worker

Duties Perform detailed cleaning and sanitation of portable toilets, including waste removal, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and deodorizer. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or damages, reporting issues promptly for repairs or replacements. Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers or floor buffers to maintain cleanliness standards. Ensure all portable units are properly stocked, secure, and functioning correctly before deployment and after service. Follow safety protocols during waste handling and cleaning procedures to protect yourself and others from hazards. Maintain accurate logs of service times, locations serviced, and supplies used for record-keeping purposes. Assist with the setup and breakdown of portable units at various job sites as needed. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred, especially in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing or deep cleaning is beneficial. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or troubleshooting portable sanitation equipment is a plus. Previous porter or custodial experience in outdoor settings or event environments will help you excel in this role. Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines diligently. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in physically demanding conditions. Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to waste management and sanitation practices.
