Job Summary Do you light up a room and love making someone's day? Roses and Berries Cafe — a warm, welcoming neighborhood cafe known for fresh, dynamic food — is looking for a front-of-house server to be the friendly face of our counter.
Heads up:
this isn't a traditional server job. Instead of working your own section, you'll run the counter, take orders at the register, keep tables clean and welcoming, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with the rest of the front-of-house crew as one cohesive team. All tips are pooled and shared among front-of-house staff, so when the team wins, everyone wins — we lift each other up instead of competing for tables. The schedule is flexible, compensation is competitive, we provide a full training program, and the position starts immediately. Responsibilities:
Manage the counter — greet every guest warmly and make them feel at home Take orders and handle payments at the register accurately and efficiently Bus and reset tables so the cafe always looks its best Work as one cohesive team with the rest of the front-of-house staff to deliver the highest level of service What we're looking for: Genuine customer service skills — friendly, attentive, and calm under a rush Good communication skills with guests and teammates alike Cooperative team player who builds pleasant working relationships Reliable and responsible — you show up on time and pitch in wherever needed The details: Part-time with flexible scheduling Competitive compensation, plus pooled tips shared among front-of-house staff Position starts immediately Paid training program provided — no cafe experience required
