Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations. Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, adhere to sanitation protocols, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub exposure. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Demonstrated culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation processes. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
