About the
Role:
As a Server at Honey Creek Resort, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary goal is to ensure guest satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any special requests or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth operations and uphold the resort's high standards of hospitality. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating memorable experiences that encourage guests to return and recommend Honey Creek Resort to others.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a resort, hotel, or fine dining environment. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergen information. Certification in food safety or hospitality service. Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and present menus, answering any questions about menu items, specials, and promotions. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality meet resort standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to any requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables. Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or electronic transactions responsibly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and support during busy periods. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to provide a safe dining environment.

Attention to detail is critical when taking orders and serving food to prevent errors and maintain high service standards. Basic math and cash handling skills are used daily to process payments accurately and efficiently. Multitasking and teamwork skills are vital in a dynamic resort environment to balance multiple guest requests and support colleagues during busy service periods.
Pay:
$8.00 - $10.00 per hour
