The ideal candidate enjoys serving quality coffee and fresh food, assisting customers, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This position is suited to someone who works well in a busy café, communicates effectively, and takes pride in delivering accurate orders and excellent service. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service. Explain coffee drinks, specialty beverages, breakfast items, sandwiches, and pastries. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Serve coffee, tea, other beverages, and food orders promptly. Coordinate with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely service. Process cash, card, and other customer payments accurately. Keep counters, tables, service stations, and customer areas clean and organized. Restock cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and general café duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous café, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
