We are currently seeking an experienced Suite Server to assist in the overall food and beverage operation in Idaho Falls, Idaho at Mountain America Center . The Spud Kings junior league hockey team will play in a new state of the art hockey arena that seats over 5,000 guests including 12 private suites, 16 loge suites, and 5 concession stands. The Mountain America Center also hosts other concerts and events and includes the Blue Cross Conference Center , a state of the art conference space. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Premium Suite Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in our premium suites, ensuring their dining and hospitality needs are met with utmost professionalism and attention to detail. Your primary goal will be to enhance the overall guest experience by delivering top-notch service and creating memorable moments.
Job Responisbilities Guest Service:
Greet and attend to guests' needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations while maintaining a consistently high-quality service and standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with suite holders. Presence on the suite level and checking in with all suite holders during events.
Food and Beverage Service:
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery. Serve food and beverages in a courteous and presentable manner. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods. Address any special dietary requests or allergies.
Suite Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of premium suites. Set up and arrange tables, chairs, and amenities as per guest preferences. Monitor and replenish supplies as needed (e.g., utensils, napkins, condiments) Coordinate with housekeeping for suite cleanliness and maintenance.
Guest Relations:
Build positive relationships with regular and VIP guests. Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints professionally. Anticipate guest needs and exceed their expectations whenever possible.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers. Assist in training new team members when required. Support team members during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations. Must be willing and able to: Must be 19 year or older to Server Alcohol Follow supervisor's instructions. Report to work in a complete required uniform. Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the arena. Meet personal schedule requirements punctually. Be courteous, friendly and pleasant. Stand and walk for an entire shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. via food or beverage trays or required equipment needed to perform specific job duties. Safely transport items to and from kitchen. Safely move about in all areas of the arena. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe.
