Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. We're in need of a Seasonal Server to work during the holidays. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are handled accurately and efficiently. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments. Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
