Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and process sales transactions efficiently Serve food and beverages—including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks—while maintaining proper beverage service etiquette Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and cleaning procedures Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments swiftly at the end of each shift Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and dining spaces through bussing and sanitation practices Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming environment Skills Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Extensive food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings with a focus on customer satisfaction Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Effective upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest enjoyment Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling practices Experience working in nightclub or high-volume environments is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced setting Spanish prefer Join us to be part of a dynamic team that values hospitality excellence!
