Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards. Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Support the team by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and assisting in food preparation when needed. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including wine knowledge and food industry trends, to answer guest questions confidently. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an ability to build guest relations and handle diverse guest needs. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing cash handling duties. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail making, or beverage service is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
