SUMMARY:
The Banquet Server will set up and service catered events, conferences, and banquets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up location according to function request including utilizing carts to move equipment, moving tables and chairs, and arranging place settings. Work with all team members to provide exemplary service to patrons during events. Tear down and clean up location after events have ended. Perform necessary tasks to maintain equipment. Perform bartending functions as needed. Assist all team members to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion. Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Must be 19 years of age or older. Must pass pre-interview physical test. Ability to handle trays of up to eight plates, with covers, required. Ability to move, handle, and set up banquet tables required. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license preferred. Food handler's permit preferred; ability to obtain a food handler's permit required. Six months previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
Excellent customer service skills required. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must have strong multi-tasking skills. The ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes preferred. Must be able to find acceptable solutions to problems within policy guidelines.
