Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships through attentive customer service. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently during busy hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, and process payments via POS terminals. Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment that complies with health regulations. Experience Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable. Experience in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles will be advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively.
