Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated effectively. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and suggest specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout service. Provide attentive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and payment processing. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for accurate billing, cash handling, and transaction processing. Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Background in culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards.
