Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing exceptional guest relations from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Clear tables efficiently, bus dishes, reset tables quickly to prepare for new guests, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas following sanitation standards. Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when needed, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Support host/hostess duties by managing waitlists and coordinating seating to optimize flow during busy hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for billing purposes. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following sanitation procedures and food safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience with OpenTable reservations management is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cashiering tasks. Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not required; a willingness to learn is valued. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent guest interactions.
