Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items to maximize sales while maintaining a genuine and friendly approach Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are met Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements during busy hours Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in food handling and service Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to multitask efficiently with superb time management skills in a fast-paced environment Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus for understanding menu items better Familiarity with reservation platforms like OpenTable for managing guest seating efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality talents shine!
