As a Server, you are the connection between our guests and the unforgettable meals we create. Your role is to provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations (sushi, hibachi, and Asian entrées). Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and drinks with attention to presentation and timeliness. Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive, attentive service throughout the meal. Manage multiple tables and maintain a clean, organized dining environment. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with fellow servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and hibachi chefs to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management when needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Certifications (Illinois) Food Handler Certificate (Illinois Department of Public Health approved)
required for all staff who handle food or drinks. BASSET Certification (Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education & Training, Illinois Liquor Control Commission)
required for anyone serving alcohol. Allergen Awareness Training

Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods. Ability to carry trays and plates weighing up to 25 lbs. Comfortable working in a lively, sometimes loud hibachi-style environment.
