In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting smooth restaurant operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively environment that celebrates food, drink, and great service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items including wine, cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and coordinate guest needs for a seamless dining experience. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests. Culinary experience or food industry background is preferred to better understand menu items and food handling procedures. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, cash handling, and sales processing. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently. Familiarity with sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
