Server/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting. This role involves taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Operate the cash register and process payments using POS systems Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and cash register area. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to kitchen protocols. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with POS systems Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
