Under the direction of the general manager, this person will welcome guests into the establishment for wine, craft beer, cocktails, and small plate sales. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Wine education experience, background, and/or certification preferred Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Server Experience working with fine wine and food in a customer service focused environment - proven customer service skills is a must Sound general wine knowledge with a commitment to excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for the wines served in our wine room Highly motivated, hospitality- and sales-driven with an outstanding work ethic Professional appearance and demeanor when dealing with guests and vendors Works well with others at all levels Must have ability to become ServSafe certified Must be or become BASSET certified prior to starting Ability to perform point of sale (POS) operations Manage financial transaction handling procedures Foster, engage and participate in community relationship events as required Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
