Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in sushi or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation practices Experience in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations to enhance the dining experience Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as needed; nightclub or serving experience is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team that thrives on delivering exceptional sushi experiences!
