Onwentsia Club, Lake Forest, IL About Us Onwentsia Club is a private club in Lake Forest, IL, hosting member dinners, weddings, holiday parties, and special events throughout the year. As we head into our busiest season, we're expanding our on-call team of banquet servers. If you enjoy fast-paced events, working with a great crew, and having a flexible schedule, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Set up banquet rooms, including tables, linens, place settings, and buffet stations Serve plated, family-style, and buffet meals with professional, attentive service Pour and serve beverages, and clear and reset tables throughout the event Respond to member and guest requests promptly and courteously Work as a team with captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to keep events running on schedule Assist with breakdown and cleanup after each event Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Current Illinois Food Handler certification and BASSET certification required Availability for evening shifts Thursday through Sunday, especially through the holiday season Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays and equipment Banquet, catering, or restaurant serving experience preferred A positive attitude, reliability, and a polished, professional appearance What We Offer Competitive pay of $20
