This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, including managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, including cocktail and wine service with knowledge of spirits and wine pairings. Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing effective sales techniques. Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations during food handling, serving, bussing, and cleaning duties. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and sales transactions. Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards required for safe food industry operations. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation enhances guest interactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
