The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential to succeed in this role. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality setting, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties Greet guests warmly Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Provide detailed descriptions of menu items Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments using POS systems Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals and addressing any concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing and resetting tables as needed Follow food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including setup and breakdown of service areas Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; Breakfast restaurant experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Experience in serving Ability to work every weekend; Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 6:45am-3:30pm.
