Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning to support kitchen staff. Support with cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and dining areas to uphold food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy. Manage heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when handling large trays or bulk supplies. Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Qualifications Experience with food handling is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
