Competitive hourly rate plus tips Job Summary Four Points by Sheraton - Downtown Peoria is seeking friendly, professional, and dependable Restaurant Servers to join our food and beverage team. The Restaurant Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking and delivering orders, and providing attentive service throughout the dining experience. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintains high standards of hospitality and cleanliness. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide prompt, courteous service Present menus and explain available food and beverage options Accurately take and enter guest orders Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner Check on guests and respond promptly to additional requests Communicate dietary restrictions and special requests to the kitchen Prepare guest checks and process payments accurately Set, clear, clean, and reset tables Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas Follow food-safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage-service procedures Work closely with kitchen, bar, banquet, and hotel teams Assist with opening and closing duties Handle guest concerns professionally and involve a supervisor when needed Qualifications Previous restaurant, hotel, or customer-service experience is preferred Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tables and priorities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Basic math and payment-handling skills Must meet applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry serving trays Ability to safely carry food, beverages, and restaurant supplies Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment Schedule Morning and evening shifts Weekday and weekend availability Holiday availability may be required Full-time and part-time positions available How to Apply Apply through Indeed by submitting your current resume and contact information.
