Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and process sales transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting in food handling when needed Manage cash handling accurately, process payments securely, and provide correct change or receipts Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink presentation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in hospitality environments that require serving guests with professionalism and attentiveness Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality makes a difference!
