Responsibilities Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining a clean dining environment to uphold hygiene standards. Support the front-of-house team by handling food running duties swiftly and professionally. Help with basic food handling and preparation tasks as directed by supervisors to support kitchen operations. Ensure safe manual handling practices when lifting heavy trays or equipment to prevent injuries. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils or condiments. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using clear, professional language to ensure smooth service flow. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during busy shifts. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently. Experience with cleaning, bussing, and basic kitchen tasks beneficial for supporting overall restaurant operations.
