In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience. You will be responsible for managing guest relations, serving tables, and supporting the overall operations of our establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations using OpenTable and assist with seating arrangements. Process customer orders efficiently via pen and penpad Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and communicate with front end manager to enhance guest experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front-of-house area. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Familiarity with taking orders/ serving tables is preffered. Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Basic math skills for accurate cashiering and handling transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is beneficial but not required.
