Full Job Description Now Hiring:

Part-Time Server We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and upbeat person to join our team at The Royal Tea Room in Shorewood! Our servers are a big part of what makes a visit to the tearoom feel special. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, brings a positive attitude to each shift, and takes pride in providing warm, attentive service to every guest. The right person will be punctual, hardworking, comfortable staying busy, and willing to jump in wherever needed. What you'll do: Welcome and care for guests throughout their visit Learn our menu and confidently answer questions and make recommendations Serve food, tea, and beverages with attention to presentation and detail Help keep the tearoom clean, organized, and guest-ready Assist with dishes, resetting tables, and light cleaning duties, including restrooms Work together with our small team to keep service running smoothly

Availability:

Saturday & Sunday daytime availability is required Availability for two weekdays per week from approximately 11:00 AM-2:30 PM Weekday scheduling can be flexible based on availability Additional special-event shifts may also be available Because we are a small business, scheduled hours are based on reservations, events, and guest volume. Weekly hours may vary and are not guaranteed.

$9.00/hour + tips

Food Handler Requirement:

New hires must obtain an Illinois Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire. The course can be completed online and is approximately $7 at the employee's expense.
