None Basic Functions:
Serves guests quickly, efficiently and with complete knowledge of food and beverage menus. Offers superior customer service and maintains station in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
Essential Functions:
Warmly greets and acknowledges guests upon arrival. Effectively merchandizes food and beverage menus in an informative, friendly and enthusiastic manner. Accurately takes guest orders. Cleans, stocks, and maintains the workstations through out shift. Follows all safety and sanitation policies. Correctly and precisely calculates each guest check. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed as requested by a manager at anytime. Qualifications Knowledge High school diploma Preferred two years of full service restaurant experience Basic math skills. Understanding of federal, state, and local liquor laws. Basset and Food Handler Certification Skills/Aptitudes English language and professional communications skills are required. Ability to take direction. The ability to work in a team environment. The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized. Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge. Working Conditions This position will spend 95% of the time standing. This position will spend 5% of the time sitting. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly. Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction. Must be able to see to 20/20 vision with correction. Level Must be able to work under moderate supervision. Non Essential Duties and Functions Use of a Point of Sale System.
