Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu inquiries Maintain organized guest lists, wait times, and seating charts using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist servers by delivering accurate orders and supporting food safety standards during service Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Support overall restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hospitality standards Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally over the phone and in person Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems.
