In this vital role, you will act as the essential link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen or drink room to tables, ensuring presentation and quality are maintained. Assist servers by delivering efficiently and accurately to enhance guest satisfaction. Expediting Food and non alcoholic beverages for delivery. Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs. Support food handling safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards in all food movements. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing under supervision. Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent guest service by engaging politely and professionally with diners. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations enhances your candidacy. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods in a busy setting. Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for guest service is essential!
