Full Job Description HOST:
Core Responsibilities Greeting Guests:
Welcome customers with a warm smile and a friendly attitude as they walk in.
Managing Seating:
Take names for the waitlist, give clear wait times, and walk guests to their tables.
Handling Reservations:
Answer phone calls or digital bookings and track the floor plan.
Supporting Staff:
Coordinate with servers and kitchen teams, clean menus, and help clear tables during busy rushes.
Key Skills Needed Communication:
Speak clearly on the phone and in person.
Organization:
Multitask and track table rotations and wait times.
Calm Demeanor:
Stay friendly and polite when the restaurant gets busy or crowded.
Teamwork:
Help out coworkers and keep the front entrance clean and tidy.
SERVER:
Key Responsibilities Greeting and Seating:
Welcome diners warmly, present menus, and explain daily specials.
Taking Orders:
Record food and beverage choices accurately, noting any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Serving Orders:
Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen and bar in a timely, organized manner.
Guest Relations:
Check back regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints with a positive attitude.
Payment Processing:
Prepare itemized checks, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and collect cash or credit payments.
Side Work:
Clear and reset tables, stock service stations, and complete opening or closing cleaning duties.
Qualifications and Skills Customer Service:
Friendly, polite, and patient demeanor with a guest-focused approach.
Communication:
Clear verbal skills to interact with patrons and coordinate smoothly with kitchen and bar teams.
Multitasking:
Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
