Responsibilities Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area by clearing and resetting tables promptly using safe lifting practices and proper manual handling techniques. Deliver food orders swiftly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Support servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and attending to guest needs with friendly, in-person customer service. Handle food running duties efficiently, coordinating between kitchen staff and front-of-house to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures aligned with food safety standards. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to uphold hygiene and safety protocols. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required, ensuring smooth transactions. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to facilitate efficient order management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when clearing tables or handling supplies. Familiarity with culinary or kitchen experience enhances understanding of food preparation and presentation standards. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
