Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings, ensuring a delightful experience Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats according to company standards Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Manage customer orders with attention to detail, ensuring correct food handling, portioning, and presentation Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give accurate change while maintaining cash handling security Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, counters, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Upsell additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment in a quick service environment Support sanitation efforts by bussing tables, managing waste disposal, and ensuring a tidy environment at all times Follow food safety management protocols diligently to ensure high standards of hygiene and food quality are maintained Experience Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle cash register operations accurately while processing transactions efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory—training will be provided!
