Lighthouse Restaurant is seeking a highly professional and energetic individual to join our team as a Server . Lighthouse offers an upscale, refined dining experience, on the beautiful shores of Cedar Lake. We are looking for a dedicated hospitality professional who can ensure every guest receives an exceptional and memorable experience.

Responsibilities Service Excellence:

Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service to all guests, whether in the dining room or at the bar.

Menu Expertise:

Develop a deep understanding of our extensive food and cocktail menus, including preparation methods, ingredients, and suggested pairings.

Guest Engagement:

Greet guests warmly, manage table sections effectively, process orders accurately using our POS system, and handle payments.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow service members to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of any guest issues.

Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all Indiana state liquor laws and restaurant health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Must be 21 years of age Serving experience required. Fine dining experience a plus.

Licensure:

Must possess a current and valid Indiana Employee's Permit (Liquor License) .

Skills:

Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities.

Availability:

Must have open and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and move quickly throughout the restaurant. Ability to stay off your phone during your shift.
