Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations for efficient seating arrangements Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and reservations management Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and creating welcoming atmospheres Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting colleagues Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
