Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing excellent guest services from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change Maintain cleanliness of tables, bussing and resetting as needed to ensure a tidy dining environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest expectations are met or exceeded Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Experience with POS systems for order entry and management, a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction purposes. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and night shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.
