Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Food Runner and Busser, where you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our valued guests. This energetic role involves delivering delicious dishes promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, and providing exceptional in-person customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest experiences a memorable visit, while supporting the seamless operation of our restaurant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, lively setting. Responsibilities Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Clear and reset tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash regularly. Support guest needs by providing friendly service, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction. Operate Toast POS systems order processing when required. Follow food safety standards diligently during food handling and service to ensure guest safety. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and guest experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front of house staff in order to assure all dishes are complete and arrive accurately to each individual guest Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is a plus but not required Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina for standing, walking, and manual handling throughout shifts.
