Job Description
3:30p-7:30p ability to pick up other shifts. Also every other weekend. Responsibilities Serve meals and beverages to residents with professionalism and kindness, ensuring their dietary needs are met. Assist with food preparation, including assembling trays, portioning food, and setting up dining areas according to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning dishes, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and properly bussing tables after meals. Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations within the dietary department. Support food handling and meal delivery processes in accordance with established guidelines for hygiene and safety Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery while managing time efficiently during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards essential for maintaining a clean environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents. Experience in food preparation, serving, or dietary aide roles is highly desirable. Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with culinary practices or dietetics principles is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn new skills related to food production and sanitation procedures.
