In this vital role, you'll serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly and accurately. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet quality standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS to coordinate order accuracy and timing. Support servers by delivering beverages, condiments, and additional menu items to guests swiftly. Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and maintaining cleanliness throughout service. Provide exceptional guest service by being attentive, approachable, and responsive to guest needs during their dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tables, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
