Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages quickly and accurately, ensuring orders meet quality standards. Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Support food preparation and handling tasks in the kitchen as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Handle guest inquiries courteously in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for order taking and cash handling with accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours. Assist with banquet or catering setups when required, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly through the restaurant, and lift moderate loads when necessary. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Familiarity with beverage preparation, dishwashing, and general kitchen operations is advantageous.
