Overview Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Server for Events and become a vital part of creating memorable experiences for our guests! In this lively role, you'll deliver exceptional guest service, ensure smooth food and beverage presentation, and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our events. Your energy, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will help us host flawless gatherings that leave lasting impressions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms with appropriate tableware, linens, and decorations to create inviting event spaces Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, including wine and drink service, ensuring guest satisfaction Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing to maintain cleanliness and organization during events Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address questions, and foster positive guest relations Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and billing accurately during events Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures throughout service Support catering operations by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown of event areas Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred, especially in banquet or fine dining settings Knowledge of beverage service, wine pairings, and drink presentation highly desirable Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Experience using POS systems for order management is a plus Strong guest service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for bill calculation and inventory management Prior catering or restaurant experience will enhance your ability to excel in this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for hospitality makes every event extraordinary!
Pay:
$13.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
