Job Description
Ironhand Vineyard's Wine Bar (1025 Northside Blvd., located in The Armory across from the South Bend Farmer's Market) is seeking enthusiastic and positive wine servers to join their team! We are seeking outgoing, personable and knowledgeable tasting room wine servers to sell and promote our wine and brand. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in hospitality or sales and enjoys working in a team environment. Servers must be able to confidently share their wine knowledge with consumers & be able to work in a fast paced environment. Candidates with previous winery, service or sales experience will be given special consideration.
Part & Full Time Positions Available Salary:
$7.25/hr. for training, then $3/hr+tips, average hourly is between $15-35/hr Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Greeting wine bar guests, pouring wine & educating customers on Ironhand's wine & winemaking processes
- Engaging with guests, answering any questions they may have & able to make recommendations on wine for guests to take home
- Helping pour wine at offsite & after hour events
- Serving food
- Assist with private events
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, including some holidays
- Working with the general public
- Maintaining a clean dining area and bar
- Stocking wine & merchandise
- Sell and promote our Wine Club
- Must be able to operate a cash register
- Currently looking for someone to take Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday shifts
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- 18 years or older to serve, 21+ to serve and pour alcohol
- Valid Driver's License-reliable means of transportation
- Employee Permit within 30 days of hire
