Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team. The Busser plays a vital role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while supporting the front-of-house staff. Duties Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for the next customers. Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing additional support as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary. Ensure all utensils, glassware, and plates are properly stocked and ready for service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or catering services. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds as part of daily duties. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
