You will be responsible for taking customer orders, preparing and serving food, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and promptness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation tasks. Manage customer orders through food service systems, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and give correct change. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation protocols, including bussing tables, cleaning equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong food handling skills combined with culinary experience are desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail transactions. Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely while maintaining sanitation standards. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred. Retail math skills or grocery store experience are advantageous for managing sales transactions effectively.
