Job Summary Stacked House inside Sun King Brewery in Westfield is hiring a high-energy team for the grand opening. Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Food Runner, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience! In this energetic role, you'll handle cashier responsibilities with precision, ensuring quick and accurate transactions using POS system. As a Food Runner, you'll deliver hot, fresh food swiftly from the kitchen to our customers' tables, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Your enthusiasm and efficiency will help create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more! Duties Greet guests warmly and process orders accurately using POS system.. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with attention to detail and integrity. Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring proper food presentation and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining a tidy dining area. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions. Support the overall flow of service by coordinating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely delivery of orders. Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Previous restaurant or retail experience is a plus; culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
