Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS or Toast POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments, and manage tabs efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and beverage options such as spirits and cocktails Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure a seamless dining experience Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required Ability to adhere to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets a lively work environment!
