Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and give correct change Maintain a clean and organized service station, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met in accordance with health regulations Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while delivering exceptional guest service Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to build guest relations and promote sales through upselling techniques Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions efficiently Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a vibrant setting!
